IIPeople October 14, 2010, The Wilmot Enterprise, Page 3 Funeral Held for Milton "Mickey" Minder Mundwiler Funeral Home an- nounces the death of Milton Minder, age 83 of Wilmot. Milton died October 4, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Milbank. Funeral services were held Friday, October 8, 2010 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Wilmot. Rev. Glenn Schultz officiated and burial was in the Garfield Lutheran Cemetery. Casket bearers were Darwin Minder, Bryan Minder, Michael Quade, Gene Frerichs, David Minder, and Steven Minder. Milton David Minder was born November 18, 1926, in Milbank, SD. He was the son of John and Martha (Jann) Minder. Milton was baptized in the Lutheran faith on December 5, 1926, in Geneseo Township by Pastor F.W. Huesner and was confirmed on November 10, 1940 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. He attended grade school at Geneseo #1. Milton farmed east of Wilmot and later moved into Wilmot. In December of 2005, Milton moved to Golden Living Center in Milbank. Mundwiler Funeral Home an- nounces the death of Erma Fenhaus, age 92 of Corona who died October 4, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Milbank. Fu- neral services were held Satur- day, October 9, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Corona. Rev. Glenn Schultz officiated and burial was in the Kilborn Lutheran Cemetery. Casket bearers were Shane Storm, Christopher Brandvik, Josh Olson, Brandon Olson, Matthew Amdahl, JeffAmdahl, and Rod Fenhaus. The organist was Marlene Dockter, the vocalist was Larry Tietjen, and the vio- linist was Zachary Fenhaus. Erma Mae (Settje) Fenhaus was born May 21, 1918, in Creston, Nebraska. She was the daugh- ter of Herman and Ida (Meyer) Settje. She graduated from high school in Creston and moved to Corona, SD. Erma was united in marriage with Roland "Todd" Fenhaus on October 14, 1937, in Corona. Erma farmed with her husband in rural Corona. She was a mem- ber of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active with the ladies aid, Sunday School teacher, choir and organist. She enjoyed dancing and singing. Her grandchildren, great-grandchil- dren and great-great grandchil- dren gave her great pride and delight. She enjoyed visiting, traveling, and fishing. She also enjoyed sewing and her family will miss her wonderful cooking. Her husband died in 1975. Erma Fenhaus is survived by four children: Lloyd Fenhaus westerns. Milton Minder is survived by two sisters-in-law: Harriet Minder of Wilmot, SD and Jo Ann Minder of Milbank, SD as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services Held for Rosalie Jurgens Mundwiler Funeral Home an- nounces the death of Rosalie Jurgens, age 95 of Wilmot who died October 6, 2010 at the Wilmot Care Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, Oc- tober 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church-in Wilmot. Rev. Mark Dierking of- ficiated and burial was in the Garfield Lutheran Cemetery. Tim Mundwiler was the vocalist. Honorary bearers were Ellen Jurgens, Arlene Jurgens, Lori Van Hout, JoAnn Huff, Linda Dierking, Betty Reil, Helen Hackl, Luella Buttke, Sally Settje, Vivian Uglum, Viola Frerichs, Dallas Keeney, the Co- rona Senior Citizens, and all her nieces and nephews. Casket bearers were Rol Jurgens, Roland Jurgens, Jr., Shane Jurgens, Roy Greiner, Rob Greiner, Tim Zempel and Josh Zempel. Rosalie M. Jurgens was born March 15, 1915, in Roberts County, SD. She was the daugh- ter of Herman and Violet (Judish) Jurgens. She attended rural school in Garfield Town- ship, graduated from Corona High School and received her teacher's certificate from North- ern State Teacher's College in Aberdeen, SD. Rosalie returned to the Wilmot area and began her 40 year career of school teaching. She taught in rural schools as well as in Corona. She enjoyed teaching and loved her students. Rosalie is survived by two sis- ters-in-law: Arlene Jurgens of Wilmot, SD and Ellen Jurgens of Wilmot, SD; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Violet and three brothers: Roland Jurgens, Sr.; Richard Jurgens; and Sherman Jurgens. Memorials may be given to the Wilmot Library. Services Held in Summit for Richard Lien Richard Lien, age 62 of Sum- mit passed away October 5, 2010 at Avera Hospice in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held Sat- urday, October 9, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church in Summit. Rev. Justin Neugebauer offici- ated and burial was in the Hope Lutheran Cemetery. The organ- ist was Val Moen. Casket bear- ers were Tim Maloy, Greg Pearson, David Gaikowski, Terry Lien, Neil Anderson, and Harlow Niles. Richard Lien was born Janu- ary 19, 1948, in Webster, SD. He was the son of Theodore R. "Ted'and Miriam (Sturgeon) Lien. He graduated from high school then served in the Na- tional Guard. Richard farmed and raised cattle. He worked at L.G. Everist, Inc. Gravel Pit. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Summit. Richard Lien is survived by one brother: Roger Lien of Sioux Falls, SD ; one nephew: Chad Lien and wife Christina; great nieces: Rebecca, Sara and Abigail, all of Brandon, SD; as well as many other relatives and friends.
